I have a scene in a movie where I have one guy multiplied 6 times. I want the effect that they are all in a kitchen doing different things. How do I do this so that it looks like there are six of the same people in one frame?

I've done something to that effect before just a couple of weeks ago...I had the character sitting in the room talking to 8 of himselfs... I used photoshops clone tool...I exported it out of premiere as a filmstrip. When we shot him...he talked 8 different times.. and all of them are different movements. I exported the 8 different convos I recorded and put them into photoshop..I then kept layering one on top of each other while still cloning...It took me a lot of time to do it but w/ good results...There is a tool in photoshop where u can draw a bluescreen around something, which could have been better...but i dont know what its called

Ladies and gentlemen...today we have dean martin and jerry lewis going to camp with us...Jerry tells the jokes, dean sings the songs and gets the girls...lets have a big round of applause!~~~Remember The Titans

if the action does not overlap each other you can place them in layers above each other and then just crop the footage around the action for each. If your cam was steady then it should be seamless.

I'm gonna agree with jeff here. I've done the same thing, but yours may be a little more difficult. Click on my website link and view the "YMDT Intro." The 4 ninjas going down the hill are all one guy, as well as the two guys being chased after. You just have to watch out for moving objects and keep the camera steady [such as on a tripod]. Other than that, good luck.
