Anyone know where I can get some very mechanical engine sounds? Im trying to make some time travel sounds.

Sounddogs.com is not too expensive. You can probably make your own if you look around for objects that make an interesting sound and mix them together.

I could see kitchen appliance sounds also working for time travel. Blender, garbage disposal, dishwasher, running water, coffee grinder, etc. Maybe those would be easier for you to gather.

I made engine noises with my mouth for Spring Heeled Jack (yes, I'm serious). You can make a lot more sounds with your mouth than you would think if you just tinker with the speeds.
