So If I've got two video tracks running over one another is there anyway I can have them both playing in the finder at the same time so I can better decide on the edit points?

Do you mean playing within the same window?

Not speceficly, but anyway I can get both video tracks playing at the same time will help me.

How about lowering the opacity of the top track so you can see a merged version of both?
