hi gang,
I'm new here, but it seems like folks are quick to help, so here's my deal. I'm capturing footage from my new PV-GS250 onto my PC - premiere won't accept the camera in order to capture (or it says the device is recognized, but wont actually perform the capture, or display anything) and when I do the capture from Windows Movie maker or the editor that came with the camera, my footage looks faded and drab (however it looks fine when playing from the camera onto a TV).... does anyone have any experience dealing with with thing kind of problem? Thanks in advance!

Computers make footage from cameras look crap. All will be good on output.

Check you are using the right cables (you will have to use firewire, not usb)

Cheers.
