Does anyone know how to make a movie that was shot with a new Sony Handycam (Digital 8) on 8mm tape look...more like film?

thanks...

yeah, gray it out by about 50% (dull the colors), add some saturation, add some grain, downsample it to 24 fps, and if you shot in 16x9 that usually helps as well.

mess with some filters. theres no magic bullet or perfect way to do anything like that, because video isnt film, but you can pretend and fool people who don't have any idea.

wait... isn't that going to equal out in the end? greying it out is essentially de-saturating it.
