I haven't used video editing programs in just under a year, and boy do I feel foolish. I just haven't had a need to recently... kinda' lost the drive for that time, and it's come back recently. But alas; simply functions of Final Cut seem to baffle me.

Guys, I'd like to have my memory jogged. I NEED to remember how to take one still image, and pan it across the screen.
I know I can do this, because I remember having done this with credits, recreating the scrolling credits of movies. But then again... I might have done that with Premiere, waaay back in high school. I don't recall.

Anywho, can anyone help a guy who can't remember his youth? Thanks guys...!

Wouldn't you just keyframe it's position?

I wish!

As far as I know, Final Cut Express, at least my version, lacks key frames. It's a loss, but I remember being able to work around it. Well, I'll keep playing with it.

I don't know anything about FCE. I've never seen it. I use FCP, and I found this page about the motion paths. It says it's version 1.01. I dont' know which version you're using.

Actually, I did remember how to do what I needed... simply by using the "Push Slide -90˙" transition.

Thanks though.
