If someone out there is using an AMD Athlon based system (or am I the only jackass) to edit with Premiere can you please post your video, audio and capture settings? I have tried everything and when I try to capture the sound gets choppy. When I play my "captured" clip in the preview window there is no sound and all I have is choppy video and the result is my neighbours having to listen to words that start with Fu....sh...motherfu....and so on. You ppl either help me with this or Titanic 2, 3, 4 and Ben Hur: The battle for Starbucks NEVER get released!!!!!

Zx6r: I wish I could help, but I can't. I edit with Premier 6.0, a Dell P4, 256 RAM, 40G HD for programs and a 100G HD for editing and capture. Nothing really special. Once in awhile, I have to save and reboot or the computer will lock, but that's after a lot of editing and capturing.

I haven't had the choppy sound problem. I wish I could offer advice. Good luck!

Ok Guys, I appreciate your help. I'll have to build a Pentium based system. I suspect it might be my sound card too. Anyhow....best of luck filming!
