Actually the movie recieved a heavy color correction (with a Davinci I believe) before being transfered to 35mm. Using prime lenses and then doing an extensive color correction makes all the difference in the world. A film transfer dosent hurt eithere. R. Michael "Luck, is when opportunity, meets preperation." Magic Bullet is an After Effects plugin designed by some former employees of Lucas's Industrial Light and Magic. It is simply the most powerful consumer tool for making video sourced material look more like film. De interlacing and morphing techniques along with extensive color controls and almost limitless plugins (Some can be used to achieve differnt film looks such as the appearance in Minority Report and Saving Private Ryan normally achieved through specific film stocks and style of production) Although from what Ive heard it can be a bit pricey but still cheaper than a full Davinci Color Correction and 35mm transfer.
