although many people on this board are not strictly legal with their software habits, i doubt anyone is going to openly give you a serial number.... try kazza (and remember, when you can afford it, buy yourself a brand new version at full price to make up for this time)

Here, go to this link, its not as good as final draft but its a full scriptwriting program. The demo lets you save and reopen no prob for like 30-60 days but the kicker is when the experation is up you can still use the program! You just close out the registration alert and the program still works, you can still save, open and import!

Oh you'll need ms word to use the program.

WHy doesn't anyone use WORD?

If you use a program and you want to send it to someone they have to have the same program.

It's just easier but not entirely necessary. But if you are ever giving a script to a professional (agent, producer, your mamma) it will need to be properly formatted, and software like FD and DD will do it with ease.

Not that I condone piracy, especially since I am currently taking programming courses.

But I know http://astalavista.box.sk/ has a search engine that might point you in the right direction.
