Hey!

I have Been adding specail effect Gun Blasts on a small film i made a while ago.

I've seen Other people do this on films like, S Shot of Vengance,Two Fish Dead Fish and basically any other film on this site with guns in it, I have the files from detinationfilms.com and i can place them on the gun,But There is always a pale white box around it.

Could Someone Please tell me how to get rid of this white box.

Yep, I know the white box well

You need to filter the gunshot layrer. Find the Levels filter, and crush the darks a little bit (that's the dark triangle on the left - move it to the right a little bit). If you don't have a Levels filter, try brightness and contrast, brightness down, contrast up, a little bit.

That should do it!
