I'm shooting a fake television show where I am going to have celebrity look-a-likes do fake comments during footage, and I am wanting to have them over a solid color background, I use Final Cut Express, how can I do this? I'm thinking I can shoot them doing their comments over a blue screen or something similar then in the editing room I can add a nice background to it. Any ideas?

well, I don't want to oversimplify what you're trying to do, but could you shoot them on whatever color background you ultimately want to put them infront of? Then it's all in camera and you don't have to worry about chroma keying.

i think he worded this funny joren - what he meant was a solid color background so he could key it out and add a graphic in, not put a solid color behind the person (i think)...and since its a final cut express question, i've got nothin on specifics of how to do it, but i'm sure you do apple man Big Grin
