I think i may have asked this already, I can't remember. Does anybody know where I can find that film burn effect? (When the projector bulb is too close to the film and just melts through from the inside out?) I'm sure everybody has seen this at one point or another.

Hmm..there's a plugin for After Effects called CineLook, that might have it, but I'm not sure.

Thanks Trespasser! It doesn't quite do what I'm looking for, but it has some really great film damage effects I inquired about awhile ago that nobody could answer.

See the problem is that i dont think any effect would achieve this, as the image doesnt play any role in a film burn. My thought would be find stock footage of the effect and you need to cut it into your project. I'm sure one of the stock footage collections has that in there. I wouldnt think that would be made as an effect because it would be completely creating all the "film" bits itself. Know what I mean?
