I'm new using Adobe Premiere 6.5, after some editing, I've export the clip into an AVI file. But, the audio and video of the exported AVI is out of sync, that is, the audio comes first follow by the video. I've checked the original clip captured from the video cam, it was OK. I've also check the Video and Audio timeline before the export, the alignment was OK.
I've tried adjusting the Interleave setting in the Audio but it does not helps.
Can anyone tell me what's wrong ?? Was it the audio settings, or something else ??
Both import/export settings are the same, PAL 720x576, Audio: 48000, format: 16 bit stereo.
What I found is you have to re-do the sound, it is tedious, but it works. So you have to just render the audio from the movie, and then just place it back on, where it should be. It's worked for me...I don't know if there is a better answer.
Sometimes it's just a technical quirk. THe setup at my university sometimes has the synch sound correcton the tv, but off in the computer. The computer's on a delay, rather than the TV, odd as it may be. So I may see something I think is in synch from a computer, when I turn on the tv, it's completely different, so I have to synch from that.
Also you may have the sound recorded at 44khz, rather than 48.

Thanks for the tip, have try it. Its indeed a tedious thing to do: after exporting the audio, have to get it back to the movie, and have to adjust the audio timeline to sync it with the video.
