Hi, I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 and I just wondered if there was a way to manipulating certain colours in a video.

For example I have an actor with a red shirt, how can I make just his shirt appear more colourful while the rest of the image remains un-altered?

Thanks

i'd flip through the help file on how to use the color corrector effect properly, then duplicate the clip into two layers, matte the top layer so it is almost completely just the shirt, keyframe it so it tracks with the shirt, apply the color corrector effect to the clip, and tweak to your liking. If you use the effect properly (and subtly) you should get a good result without seeing any haloing around the shirt. Good luck w/ it.

what you're trying to do is more of a compositing idea than a color correcting idea.

using mattes like jeff said is the way to go, but after effects would probably be better for it than Premiere.
