Right now in order to add a slow mo effect in Vegas 5 I have to add a velocity envelope, but when I do that it doesn't line up with the audio. Also I'm using the blending fields as my interlacing method, and the slow mo section are very choppy. So my questions are is there a way to get better slow mo shots in Vegas 5 with out the choppiness, and can I make the audio line up with the video when I add the velocity envelope. Thanks in advance.

What fps are you shooting at? I am assuming 30? Generally with vegas, (being that it has a few shortcomings) if you plan to do the slow motion effect, you should shoot at 60 fps to avoid getting the choppiness. As far as audio, you are going to need to edit the audio if you are going to slow down the video, because otherwise it wouldn't match up regardless of the prog that you use. I suggest that you get premiere, or better yet get a Mac and use final Cut.

I got Premiere, also and figured it out in that so it's all good, but I still love Vegas.
