i was wondering if anyone else uses netflix (or any other online video rental that is better) to rent hard to find movies/dvds and was wondering if you find it to be pretty good and what kind of rip offs and traps they have as far as late fees and **** and just generally to know what is the best way to use it without getting ripped off and stuff and if u recamend it, thanx

I am a netflix subscriber and it is excellent. It's really not a rip off, just a straight 17 dollars a month, no rip offs or scams because you can keep the DVDs as long as you want, but you can only have 3 at a time. If you want to get 3 new ones, you have to send 3 back to get the next 3 on your queque.
Blockbuster is 4 dollars cheaper per month, but they have less movie selections, and there are less locations around the U.S so it takes longer to get your movies.
i f'ing love netflix. i just got dr strangelove, raging bull, and the first season of the kids in the hall. i great advocate of netflix. screw blockbuster, trying to run netflix in the ground. aint gonna happen, i tell u that. blockbuster is suffering

oh yeah, I've seen a bunch of students get them. I personally don't have them shipped there (because my dad pays for the account and he wants movies too!) but I'm home now. Summer break started 4 days ago for me!
I save up lists of stuff to watch, and sign up for the Blockbuster thing every few months. I've got two good Blockbusters within a few miles... so its easy. And, when you're signing up fresh you get a deal

i have netflix, but my parents have pretty much overtaken it. they take forever to watch the god damned movies, so i started getting pissed off and just got the blockbuster movie pass. my blockbuster is huge (two floors) so I go there every day or every other day and get another two movies. I like the movie pass better due to the immediacy, rather than having a 2-3 day turnover time.

i just did some searching on netflix, seems they've updated their selection a bit more than last I knew of. lots more movies I wanna see!
I didnt get the Cassavetes films though! See, the films are mailed to my grandma's house where my dad's friend lives, and he watches them. If I wanna see a movie I usually ask to get them from him, only this time the computer messed up and told me he had the movies, when he had just returned them like days before. this sucks. I'm gonna have to wait ol Johnny out. time to bust into some Luis Bunuel
