Hey anyone watch that show Home Movies (b4 it was practically cancelled)?
if u haven't seen it its about a student film maker named Brendan Small and its real funny (almost all ad libed dialogue and such)
if u want to see a couple episodes, u dont technically have to feel guilty about dling it off the internet since there are no dvds available until a few months from now- (cou*shareaza*gh)
anyway i figured id bring it up since its a real funny show and we could all watch it together or something and say "aww that's us all over" or something weird like that, lol

Yeah! I love that show. I watch it on adult swim on demand all the time. My favorite one is when dwayne writes the script for the rock opera, "Franz Kafka"...

Home movies season 1 is being released on dvd November 16th. My personal favorite is the renaissance fair episode where the band plays hardcore music for robin hood and king arthur.
there was an interview with Brendon Small on the radio here. he said the show is entirely adlibbed. the only thing they do is pick on how the scene starts and how it ends so they can edit it with the next scene. he also said they end up with around 4 hours of dialogue, and have to edit it down to a half hour so the people can animate it.
and all the shows after the Squigglevision episodes are done in flash, but drawn each frame at a time, no use of motion tween or anything.

also, the rock songs in the show are written by Brendan Small, he actually write quite a few songs, he used to want to be in a metal band. he wrote a rock/metal opera and played it a few times in random theatres when he was still doing stand-up comedy.
