do u get the feeling that ppl will actually start talking about film in here rather than random stuff, like how we talk randomly in the normal film discussions, kinda like that movie "A Night at the Roxbury" eith the outside/indoor themed club? see, there it starts

Don't worry, I'm sure this place will get off topic again. Just focus...or don't.... If this message makes no sense then its back on track

I don't know, Chris, I have my doubts...right now I can't help but think you've created one new forum too many, taken one step too far...I think studentfilms.com has a certain sanctity and I think an off-topic forum could potentially destroy that sanctity...after all, you could find any old chat room to talk about off-topic stuff, couldn't you? But there are too few places on the web out there dedicated exclusively to student filmmakers. But hey, I guess what's done is done, and since I'm the guy who everyone knows is liable to make an incorrect assumption very easily, I'll just shut up now and sit back and see what happens with this little forum.

Yeah, but maybe this could be the place where people can argue with eachother when a fight starts. I'm new to this place, so it was really interesting to read through different topics in other forums in their entirety. Sometimes things seem to get a little out of hand. Since this is the off topic forum, anything goes. If someone needs a "time out" come in here and cool down. Lets play nice. (Should I not be putting my "two cents" into this...If so, just ignore me)

I agree with Bree, all arguments that have nothing to do with film, (like my political ones, I admit it), should be redirected here when they occur. This is like the spillway for the website. All teh other topics are held in the dam of fimmaking, but occasionally, waters gotta get out.
