Does anyone know where I can find the font (or something close) that was used for 'MAGNOLIA' (The font on the front of the DVD. I need that classy look that the font has.

Really appreaciate it.

looks like palatino, most like roman on this link:

http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/linotype/palatino/

It appears the height of the letters was squashed a bit. But look at the A and the G, pretty close.

Interesting side note - I played opposite Jason Robards' daughter in the last production i was in.

Love this movie by the way.

WHAT?! That was what was so brilliant about it! It was TOTALLY unexpected. It was like the old testament. There is a bible verse that talks about raining frogs. Exodus 8:2. Throughout the movie there are like 7 references to 8:2. Such as: the plane's number is 82. Theres a sign in the audience of the tv show studio that says "Roman's 8:2". And tons of other places.

That movie is amazing. The acting is some of the best I have EVER seen.

As far as the frogs goes, I found this little explanation on imdb in the forums:
The film has been building up with numerous examples of coincidences, which is first demonstrated in the prologue with those three bizarre examples. The frogs, aside from having further religious implications involving the plague, which can be associated with the character at the center of the events, Earl Partridge, can also be seen as the ultimate unlikely occurance, which regardless plays an important role in the final outcomes of the character's lives. Also, this occurence has happened several times, even outside of the bible...read up on it.

Yeah, Magnolia has to be in my Top 5 Fav. Movies of ALL TIME----Without a DOUBT!

Like Durden said, awesome acting, great music, killer script, and kick ass direction... and I think it is the only film I thought about days after watching.
