Hi everyone! I'm trying to put together a list of video or computer games with 30 minutes or more of movie footage, particularly movies that are well done. The list will be used to examine what themes are being discussed in FMV's. Anyone know of any good ones? I already have all the final fantasy movies.

Welcome Smile

I don't know how long they were in total, but Diablo and Twisted Metal have some incredible cinematics.

Are you kidding? The ABSOULUTE best cinema scenes are in the Metal Gear Solid series. The first one has a really good story and direction, but the grpahics arent as good. Two and three are amazing, and easily blow many of the action movies today out of the water. Great games too.

The Getaway has TONS. I mean TONS.
Halo has tons as well. it's almost as long as a feature movie probably.
Max Payne has a ton too. That's a great story.
Grand Theft Auto has a lot.

That's all I could really think of at the moment. Maybe more later.

BUT NONE ARE BETTER THAN MGS!!!!!

Max Payne has a great story too, but most of the "movies" are graphic novels (though they are very well done).

Snake Eater was amazing

Sons of Liberty had great graphics but a lot of the cinemas were boring and the storyline wasnt as good. The first one lacked in graphics (though at the time they were good) but that didnt bother me. The character designs are still great and the direction was that of a movie (movie fans should play the original for playstation sometime- it really is amazing).

Anyway, but yeah, Snake Eater kicked Sons of Liberty's *** and completely redeemed the series. Still doesnt beat the first in my opinion but the cutscenes were really really good, especially in the chase scene at the end.

^^Total RANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111omg

All good suggestions. What about Star Wars: Jedi KNight, the first one used all real film footage in the movies.

Hey, has anyone played the Act of War demo? It's supposed to have a bunch of 35mm footage weaved in too. I can't get it to d/l on my computer, someone let me know how it is (please):
