Any one else thing that the ALCS was rigged? Think about how much extra millions the MLB + TV stations got for those extra three games. Hmmm. Roll Eyes

sox fans are crawling out of the woodwork here in nyc! my god i'm disgusted with these people!

i was chilling outside on my fire escape here in west village. several bars on my street...it's quite insane! all the folks i saw walking down the street were wearing boston hats!

*hangs head in shame* i do not want to go to school tomorrow! i'll never hear the end of it from my classmate from massachusetts.

Think about this: When Houston wins (sorry Rob), it'll be Texas against Massachusetts. The presidential race is Texas against Massachusetts. I wonder if (and how) the world series may affect the elections.

even in if the game was rigged it would prolly mean yankees would have won since they went back to ny to play those two games and would get the money.

Houston is not going to win in St. Louis joren. You are crazy.

The cardinals are awesome. And they are going to the world series, and they are going to win. You know they deserve it! They're the best team in the MLB and one of the best organizations of all time (the second best to be exact).

The BoSox curse will continue

Being in the heart of Boston last night was completely insane. Complete pandemonium. One girl from my college got shot in the eye with a rubber bullet from the riot police and died this afternoon. Very sad to see so many people in Boston obsessed with the sox. I don't want to see these kind of violent acts unless Mr. Bush becomes "elected" again.

St. Louis beat the Red Sox in the '67 World Series. The Sox haven't won since 1918, despite winning the pennant and getting close several times (1986 anyone?). I don't care who you're a fan for...nobody and I mean NOBODY deserves the series more than the Sox. You can argue it till you're blue in the face, but it's just not true.

By the way, I as at Game 7 in 1986. I was 2 months old!

my guess is the series will go to game 7 and the ball will go in between the first basemens legs and the cardinals drive in the winning run.

GO BOSTON.

This year's Cardinals are arguably the best Cardinals team in history. They were the best team in the MLB this year. They deserve it.

Sure, the BoSox haven't won in forever, but they shouldn't have traded the Great Bambino to the Yankees. The BoSox have that curse for a reason.

PS. Now that we've both stated our opinions, I don't think the argument should continue, considering the fact that Cardinals fans and Red Sox fans both have the notorious reputation of being Die-Hard. So it's pretty pointless, because we both know neither of our viewpoints will be swayed.

Oh, and let me say this...

It's not that I don't like the Red Sox, I just LOVE the cardinals (I'm a born and raised St. Louisan, can you blame me?)

In fact, if the Cardinals lost to anyone, I think I would choose the Red Sox.

Wouldn't it be crazy if it happened AGAIN? You KNOW there's a real curse on them if something like that happens twice.

I almost feel sorry for Boston fans at this point. Maybe i do want them to win.

Nah. Go cards.

Either way I see no negative side.

Cards win-yay, I'm a yankee fan, so of course i'm glad that Boston loses.

Bosox win-so what, they still got 22 more to catch up...
