that's kind of ridiculous. there are so many ways of measuring intelligence you'd think a real mensa test would measure different types of intelligence. the brain basically needs only to perform one operation very well in order to succeed in this test.

People confuse "intelligence" and "knowledge" all the time. Just because you know these doesn't mean your brain performs on a higher level. That's sort of silly.
A real Mensa test is nothing more than an IQ test.

I agree that you need to actually know the words but being able to go from the abreviations to the full word takes some degree of intelligence.

No, seriously, this is in no way an intelligence test. Beyond the fairly easy number items one would have to have knowledge of rugby, soccer, genetics, religion, geography and classic sayings to complete the entire thing. That's not intelligence, that's specialized knowledge. This is a combination of a puzzle game and a trivia game.
