Hey everyone,

If you all would please take a minute of your time to view my website. It may work for you, and it may not. See I re-created it over again using GoLive with Flash Elements in it. For some reason after you view it the first time for me, on Safari, it just shows a bunch of HTML code and I have no idea how to fix it. I was just wondering if this is happening to anyone else? SO if anyone knows HTML please tell me what's up with it. Thanks! Oh, and the website is still not done yet, so if there are any broken links or pictures off-center stuff like that, I probably know. Oh and one more thing, if you get the HTML gibberish, than you can just click refresh and sometimes it works.

I can probably help, but... I'm not getting the HTML codes. Can you explain the exact series of clicks that causes that to happen so I can try again?

My friends that I showed it to are saying that they aren't getting the HTML codes either. They are all on PC using Internet Explorer.

When I go to http://www.jickpictures.com it shows the codes for that Flash Intro. So I click refresh and that works. Then I click on Jick Pictures. It shows the xodes again for the Main Page of the Jick Website. I click on refresh it works. Then it's the same thing for each of the menus of the website for me. So I have no clue why it's not working correctly on mine if it's working right on everyone elses.

that sounds like a server/client problem.
If you have any other computers in the house, see if they do it too.

Works fine for me on PC IE6. Copy/paste the HTML code you are seeing to the forum, then maybe we can help a little more.

The following will explain exactly how we get our great movies done and onto the web for the view of the world. It is not easy, so If you are willing to join Jick Pictures in any way, there is no easy job. Please read below to learn about the three most easy and trusted steps in Jick Pictures to make a movie, and in hollywood. After you check out that you can check out some of our movies in the movies section by going to the top.</div>
<img src="images/title02.gif"><br>
<div style="padding-right:15px;">
<img src="images/im02.jpg" align="right" hspace="0" vspace="0"></div>
<div style="padding-top:10px;padding-right:15px;padding-left:10">
Pre-Production is one of the most important jobs of filmamaking. This is the story creating process of movies. Without this step you pretty much can't do the movie. First you have to write a script that looks something like the picture to the right. To write a script you must have it in the corrent format so other people can read it more clearly. If it's not than it's just some ordinary thoughts on paper.For example:
<p>FADE IN:</p>
<p>INT. PERSON'S HOUSE - AFTERNOON</p>
<p>This is the action. You write whatever happens in the whole entire scene including the extras and what happens in the background. </p>
</div>
<div style="padding-top:10px;padding-right:15px;padding-left:10" align="center">
<p>DUDE</p>
<p>(Emotion)</p>
<p>Character Dialog<br>
Or like, what the person has to say.</p>
</div>
</td>
<td style="padding-bottom:15px;padding-left:12px;" valign="top" width="241" height="100%" background="images/bg052.gif"><img src="images/title03.gif"><br>
<p><img src="images/howdo.jpg"><br>
</p>
<div style="padding-top:10px;padding-right:20px;padding-left:5">
Production is also an important part. This is the step where you actually take a video camera and shoot the entire movie. You need a script to shoot the movie so you know what your going to shoot. Sometimes you don't need a script if your just doing a movie with your friends and it's not really a story. Like a Jackass kind of film. But if you do have a script, then it doesn't matter which order you shoot the movie in, as long as you get it done and the director telsl the editor what he wants to happen in the next step.</div>
<p><img src="images/title04.gif"><br>
</p>
<p><img src="images/im03.jpg" align="left" hspace="0" vspace="0"></p>
<div style="padding-top:5px;padding-right:15px;">This is the golden part of the whole movie production. This is where you put in the music, the special effects, cut the video to make it make sense if you shot it out of order, create the visual effects and everything else you can think of. First you have to get an editing application, such as FCP (Final Cut Pro), or iMovie. Then connect it using a FireWire cable to your computer and you let the editing program import the footage. E-Mail me at <a href="mailto:help@jickpictures.envy.nu">help@jickpictures.envy.nu</a> if you have any questions or need any help with filmmaking.</div>

That's really strange! It seems almost like your browser is unsure of the content type or something.

Have you tried it in IE or Firefox from the same computer?

How is it served? Is the server at all weird?

ya know, it may also be that the flash plugin is having problems on your computer. I'm just brainstorming here, but maybe when you installed golive (or another app), it installed an older version of flash plugin for safari or something like that.

Can you post the exact text that you are getting instead of your page loading? Or maybe do a screen grab?

Yeah that could be it Joren I'll get on that, but I'm not sure what you are asking. Are you asking me to take a screen grab of the codes or the site? I did install GoLive, but it is CS. It should be the latest right?

Yes I did try it on IE but nothing else. It does work with IE but some of the text is off and not where it should be. Everything is just really messed up.

I figured it out. It's not the Flash thing. Because I tested it, I took it off the main page and it still showed all the code. I just can't figure out why Safari has to be doing this. It is GoLive that's for sure because ever since I got GoLive it started doing this.
