The competition is for metal bands to get one of their songs on a compilation CD to be independantly distributed around the US. Its a really big deal for the bands involved as it's a way for their music to get heard around the country. Its a legit competition and company sponsoring it. Militia Promotions has put out three previous albums like this and for their fourth one they're sponsoring this contest.
