If I wanted to preveiw my movie without having to waste time by burning a dvd then playing it, but instead just having my comp linked to my tv, how would i do that? Any help appreciated.

Are talking about playing it on a TV through your editing software? If so, then hook up your camera (through firewire) so that what you play on the screen plays through the camera, and then go from the video output of the camera to a TV.
