K, this is off topic, but i thought Studentfilms, has a variety of people, that know a lot.

K theres this warehouse, and it distrubutes about 10 differnt products, not each of these products have a barcode, and every box has a differnt weight. and there is a sticker on the box that has the barcode and weight.

No i was wondering if i were to take a camera, and photgraph every sitcker on everybox, is there a tool, where I can get it to read the picture and take the Barcode, (there are 10 differnt products so there are all differnt barcodes for each product) then program it so it knows when it reads a barcode, what box it is? Then after it knows what box it is by reading the barcode, i want it to read the weight of the box (which is written in numericl form) Then assign the weight, to the product.

Now, I have fooled around with barcode readers, which is, i can take a picture of a barcode, and the program will tell me the barcode #, now all i want to know is there a program, where i can select a text field in a picture, and it will read the text, and be able to put it into the computer?

Well anyways if you understood what i was saying, i was just experimentng.
