Does anyone else have a problem with red text in Premiere Pro? I made a credit sequence I was very proud of and my heart is set on red text, but whenever I export a video with red text, the titles have the pixelated look you know? Like they're in some super low resolution, no matter how I encode this happens, I've even tried other shades of red, but nothing. Anyone have a problem with this?

An exported screenshot always looks great:

But here's what it looks like in my encoder window (nevermind the interlacing, that's something different):

It's when I encode that there's a problem. And only with the text, the video looks fine too, it's just the red text in titles that go super lowfi or whatever, even with uncompressed video. Help!

I don't actually see the problem in the screenshot either, but I know what you're referring to. It's an artifact of the DV compression codec. Basically DV has a 1:4 color resolution, where the color is composed of 4x4 pixel chunks, instead of varying in shade by 1 pixel at a time. This, combined with the low bit-rate of DV leads to all sorts of dreadful problems like that one.
