Recently Nintendo said High Def would be a no show on the Nintendo Revolution, their new home console. Although many just wanted to play HD games, its more of a bad buisness decision. When consumers look at consoles they do look at whats best and High Defintion is a powerful word to your average joe. IGN, a reputable gaming site, has posted a small article that states it is possible for change and that you should email Nintendo. Please, if you like Nintendo games just write something about how no HDTV is a bad decision buisnesswise or just consumerwise.

yeah, high def or not, I can go either way. High def doesn't really help X-Box... It's the games that matter. Give me Duck Hunt/Super Mario Bros any day.

But I'm not in with the whole HD thing in the way of my personal preference.... I too am buying Nintendo Revolution for their games but I just think its a better buisness decision because people see HDTV as a word of power in a console.

nintendo has never relied on anything but their name to sell themselves. as a company they've never really cared what people think if they don't already know what nintendo is.

if the word HDTV is going to catch you attention, then what do you need a nintendo for? not the games or the innovation they show, you just want something fancy.

this is the same thinking that is happening with the PSP/Nintendo DS. people are buying PSP's because you can watch movies on them and it has wi-fi, but just about every game on it is boring. the DS has some of the best nintendo games ever made on it, and it's only been out a few months.

OK thas funny I couldnt find this info info that nintendo was not using HD, if ur talking about that leak, that is a rumor leak. Do we know what a "rumor" is. But if its on the site someone send me the link cause i must be missing it:P. and for RFranco actually the DS is doing a lot better than the PSP right now in Japan. It actually sold more than PSP and PLaystation2 combined this week. and if the nintendo's next gen system is not HD who cares HD doesnt make a good game and we will start to figure this out when they start coming to the store shelves.
