whats that mean? thats when i sign in and try to go to community.

it would be a damn shame if chris or anyone one else was blocking me for some reason.

You're not being blocked, don't worry. You wouldn't be able to post if you were being blocked. The forum software gets a lot of bugs and messes up sometimes. It will eventually get working.

i have to sign on my other computer to leave msgs now DURDEN.

i cannot load anything else on my computer, none of the forums will come up. thats the msg i get.

You might try e-mailing Chris or Private Messaging him. I don't think we've ever blocked anyone from the site before. And if we did, I'm sure I would know about it. So there's probably just a glitch or something that can be fixed (or is being fixed at the moment)>

Well that error and being blocked are completely different things.

That error was cause today when my hosting company accidentally changed the DNS on the forum server.

Basically - it was sending the forums.studentfilms.com web address to the wrong server - hence the "not found" error.

Now being blocked and not being able to post is a different thing. I did have to block a couple of IP addresses during a little "fiasco" a couple months back.

I'll check your IP and see about removing it from the banned IPs. It may have been banned because someone who also uses your ISP was banned.

No your IP address isn't banned.

What error are you getting?

You'd get an error that literally says "Your IP has been blocked from Studentfilms.com" (or something like that)

It wouldn't be the error you described.
