Not to start a holy war, but Amen! The whole XP on a mac thing is very worrisome to me. Developers may not port to OS-X if mac users can just run XP. Then as less and less software is available for OS-X, fewer people will run it (making even fewer developers working on OS-X software). Then, Apple is just an overpriced hardware company with amazing industrial design and we are forced to use XP or Linux or both. I love it. Best of both worlds. You've got a great point though. I haven't bought much Mac software. Then again, replacing all of my Windows software with Mac software isn't something I'm totally committed to doing just yet, because that's a large investment. I think the new Intel chip architecture makes it easier to port software over to OSX actually, but don't quote me on that.
