I'm surprised so many think it would be so bad to take the money in a contracted situation. The only reputation you would build by not taking the money even when a contract is in place is that of a pushover which I would imagine is not a rep you want down the road if your planning on directing. Especially independently. Now, if this is with a close personal friend or something then it would be different.
My two cents. And I'm not calling you a pushover by the way, but that's the way people think in this world. |
