Illinois all the way!!

I think Illinois will choke. They have a shot at winning, but I don't think they will. I think UNC has a good shot, as well as Duke. Syracuse could pull out a lot of wins and make it to the championship too. They've got a great team. And there are always upsets in March Madness. That's why it's so MAAAAD! Wake Forest is awesome too. So...if Illinois DOES win, they've got some very tough competition.

But right now, I'm going to go with North Carolina.

Gonzaga is good, ktabes, but I think they won't be able to make it past wake forest or Georgia Tech. and if they get to the final four, I don't think they could pull off a win against Illinois or OK state (whoever makes it)

yeah but its gonna be a good game between wake and gonzaga. I picked gonzaga because ive been watching them the past three years and always thought they were good. turiaf and morrison are a sick combination

why is it that us canadians invented basketball, yet u wont let us in ur precious tournament because we would smoke ur asses?

I'm in three different pools (not for money, of course ) - and I've picked three different winners - UNC, Syracuse and Illinois.

As for the Zags, they always play well, but I was rooting for poor Winthrop in the upset!
My team (NC State) finally decided to play the last 5 minutes of the game, but I have them losing to UCONN in the next round.

It wouldn't upset me if I was wrong though!

Although, James Naismith didn't make the game up entirely by himself, the Head of Athletics of the university helped as well. It was a combined effort.....therefore...I guess you could say that both countries invented it.

Being in NC (and an ACC fan), all three ACC teams play on FRI night - the Duke game and NC State game are early and Carolina plays the later match.

Being an NC State fan (and very pleasantly surprised that they are still in!), it's going to suck because I'll bet that our local CBS affiliate will use the Duke/Michigan St feed rather than the NC State/Wisc feed.

Oh well who cares. At least they're still in.

YES. Texas Tech is gone. And Illinois in the elite 8. This party is just getting started.
