It`s here:
http://www.pixelrevolutionfilms.com/pixel_store.html
It is an e-book about "how to make your DV film look like real film". I know it`s kind of crap... BUT!
I`ve downladed their showreel:
http://www.soupstudio.com/showreel.mov (approx. 3mb)
And was quite excited... There are crap FX, but there are good shots too.
What do you think about it?
Is it worth 30$?

Looks like a lame gimmick. Just a compilation of material that you could probably get by googling. But then again, maybe I am wrong.. oh the dilema.

That is the smallest sized demo reel I have ever seen. I have postage stamps larger.

The info looks interesting. A lot of this stuff will be obvious to some. And all of it will be available for the keen googler that isn't afraid to experiment. But that doesn't devalue a book like this. They provided sample pages, including the table of contents so people should know before they buy if this info will be of use. I will say, however, that 30 bucks is expensive for a 60 page eBook. But if it helps someone just a little, it's probably worth it.

But how did they manage to do such a nice shot with violet sky? (second picture from left on the bottom of their page).
And what should I gooooogle to find such results?
Can you give me an example?

That, my friend, is a matte painting (or otherwise CG). I'd start at http://www.mattepainting.org .
