FWIW I listen to it ironically, and even if I weren't, "Paris Hilton" is still less of an indictment than "Kelly Clarkson." I would never watch American Idol, nor listen to any of the music assigned to its offspring, with or without irony
Dude there's no way you can justify listening to Paris. Even if you think it's funny or 'ironic' or whatever. It's much worse than listenin to Kelly Clarkson imo. Least you can listen to pop that's worthwhile, like Kylie Minogue or Madonna That's quality girly music.
Looking back in time Through verses set in nursery rhyme At oil painted eyes Of muses left behind I swear I know not why Those eyes have always left me dry She stands with arms stretched out Towards the mountains & the clouds Oil painted eyes Blind yet hypnotized I swear I know not why Those eyes have always left me dry (How near, how far, how lost they are) I've rendered every line Every contour of a muse's eye Painted in my eyes mind On canvases of time I swear I know not why Those eyes have always left me dry
Ride the apocalypse Coming through the city side Fallen angel no need to hide All bodies collide and fate decides Where vengance hits Where our love will fit I can't find your face I can't see a trace In a world coming to a close I'm so damned I can't win With my heart in my hands again Take your hurt A muse of sin With my heart in my hands again And this is where it began Shot through a shattered lens And there is virtue in lonliness In vacant lots and florescent malls In one room coffins and crowded halls There is nothing to be done We have lost all control I walk in the shadows of your tortured realm I'm so damned I can't win With my heart in my hands again Take your hurt A muse of sin Passing glance forgotten Reason to doubt So pry your eyes From a film that never ends I'm so damned I can't win With my heart in my hands again Ride the apocalypse Coming through the city side There is nowhere to hide Ride the apocalypse Fallen angel no need to hide

Getting a little erratic here And I don't know who to trust I guess they got a way of reading my mind I guess I gotta adjust Got my arms they flip flop flip flop flip Got my head on a spring Well I thought I got you on my side I haven't got ****ing anything
I'm just a face in the crowd Nothing to worry about Not even tryin' to stand out I'm getting smaller and smaller and smaller And I have nothing to say It's all been taken away I just behave and obey I'm afraid I am starting to fade away
Uh-huh
I cannot see through the cracks When I'm pressed up on the wall I'm not looking to stand up real high I'd be happy to crawl I think I'm losing my grip But I can still make a fist You know I still got my one good arm That I can beat... nnn, I can beat myself up with!
I'm just a face in the crowd Nothing to worry about Not even tryin' to stand out I'm getting smaller And smaller and smaller And I have nothing to say Its all been taken away I just behave and obey I'm afraid I am starting to fade away
And for what it is worth I really used to believe That maybe there's some great thing That we could achieve And now I cant tell the difference Don't know what to feel Between what I've been trying so hard to see And what appears to be real
Fading away Fading away Fading away Fading away
My world is getting smaller everyday-yay-yay-yay-yay My world is getting smaller everyday-yay-yay-yay-yay (and thats ok)
My world is getting smaller everyday-yay-yay-yay-yay My world is getting smaller everyday-yay-yay-yay-yay (and thats ok)

Ready for some Underground L.A. music scene knowledge? Cause you're about to get some.
So Rich, So Pretty by Mickey Avalon
Hope you don't blush too easily...
(Also, I just read further up and noticed a song called Walter Reed. There's an elementary school named Walter Reed really close to my house. I know you were all dying to hear that.)
