The film is really interesting and really sparks my imagination, but I would do more research on the matter before jumping to conclusions. However, one can always speculate. The evidence against Oswald acting alone (most of which was presented factually by the movie) all make for an interesting case...the fact that he made precision shots at a moving target through dense foliage with a defective scope; a feat that (supposedly) could not be recreated by government sharpshooters, seems to be the best thing they have going against the theory that stands. Not to mention all the conflicting stories among eyewitnesses as to how many shots there were, where they came from (reference the grassy knoll theory), etc. All of this obviously creates more questions than it answers. The movie says that the government took conscious action to convict Oswald among the public and close the case. They wanted to move on and forget about it. If this is true, and there was a government cover-up of some kind, then there are only two things that could have happened. One is that the government itself killed Kennedy, and the other is that Kennedy was killed through some terrible mistake or oversight that the government made, and they were trying to cover up their tracks for the sake of the national interest. No matter what, the event triggered a political s**tstorm that still survives and is yet ignored to this day; another curious turn of events. We could go on and on, but as I said, at this point in time and due to the little that is known, one can only speculate.

I'd also like to say tha i really liked stone's "Nixon" too, had that great documentary feel, but not to the extent of michael moore, it just was good at recreating stuff and brilliantly edited. anyways, back to "Nixon," its really weird because i watched JFK and its so anti-govt or whatever, yet in Nixon i really felt sorry and sympathy for Hopkins portrayal of the President, like when he talks about all hes done, about how he ended the war and opened up to china etc... but in the end it meant nothing to ppl cause he lacked charisma and kennedy-esque popularity.
O, and I have to mention how much I love the opening scene of JFK, when the gunshots are fired, and the birds fly from the book depository buliding, o, b-e-a-utiful.
