Alright lately I have been having trouble getting my website up to showcase some of my work, and scripts, etc. Now i have tried using front page to design my site but it basically makes hell seem like a walk in the park. Then i take my shot at html, but found it to get overwhelming sometimes, and not getting the results i need. What I need is a good program that can design web pages easily, does anybody have any suggestions?

I've heard great things about Dreamwaver, and believe it is the best. I personally used to write all my code by hand, and recently started using Photoshop/Imageready/GoLive because I bought the Adobe CS creative Suite.

Its good that you've learnt some HTML, because the WYSIWYG editors sometimes need a little tinkering behind the scenes.

Definitely Dreamweaver MX, if not then go with Adobe Photoshop+ Adobe ImageReady, that's good too.

Dreamweaver for sure, no question. you can download a free trial at macromedia.com, and last i knew the educational version was only 99 bucks. Not a bad deal. I think macromedia studio educational is 199 (check that though) and that includes dreamweaver, fireworks, flash, and freehand. If you were looking into learning any of those its a good deal.

Dreamweaver all the way, but if you had trouble understanding Frontpage then Dreamweaver will swallow you up.
