I was filming with two friends and as we were leaving, we were filming at a school, these two hood rats come around and stare me down, me being a nice guy smile and say "hows it going" they being idiots, dont understand me and have nothing else in their peanut minds so they rely on their original thoughts of the possibility of robbing me...they start saying, "DO I KNOW YOU? WHY ARE YOU TALKING TO ME I DONT KNOW YOU"
what the ****. these days you cant say hello unless you know somenone. isnt that the way you start to know someone? Oh I forgot that I invaded their fears that I might not just be a cardboard cutout potential victim for them. so they ask for my money which I dont have, then my camera. I try to be reasonable with them, I ask why he'd do such a thing to another brother. HE asked for my camera, I denied, its all I got.
he punches me and I see stars. Thats where I lost the camera.

One of my biggest fears is that someone will try to rob me of my expensive equipment. I'd probably get myself killed in its defense, which would suck. | PerryKroll.com | TRC | "If not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled." Wodehouse

Kyle kyle kyle. If you would've taken up karate like I told you back in November, you wouldn't be in this mess right now. Violence is a big part of the world and you must be prepared. That's why I carry a small handgun, and throwing knife at all times. Especially when hauling around my camera. What about your 2 friends?? What'd they do? Why didn't they defend? These stories always piss me off. If I was there I would've slaughtered those dudes. Or atleast gouged their eyeballs out. Or grabbed onto one of the dude's legs while they were running and took a chunk out. This is what I recommend you do: Continue to hang out at that same school area as usual, and as the days go by you will probably run across one of the guys again. If this is to happen, confront the sucker, and tell him you want his money. When he refuses, take him down(have a pair of brass knuckles handy at all times). Then steal his money. Continue to punch him w/ the knuckles periodically to maintain your alpha status in the situation. Then threaten to take his life if he doesn't give you back the camera. Problem solved. Good luck on your revenge

Dude. Seriously. You can't count on friends to defend you. Hell, even just help out. A few ages ago, I fought this big ****er that was about a foot taller than me and had me by about 40 to 50 pounds(mind you...I'm not skinny). And my (ex)best friend was there, whom was taking karate, watching me get the crap kicked out of me, wide eyed. Afterwards, the big dude gone, I stagger off bloody and half alive back to my house. He was still there, staring at me as I left. Point being...friends are worthless in fights. At least mine are. But kyle...seriously. What kind of camera was this? If it was worth any more than a hundred bucks, you need to get those punks back with a vengence. Listen to Fash. He's got the right idea.

Killswitch, almost the exact same thing happened to me on new years. I was real drunk with my buddy, who wasn't in karate at the time, but had gotten up to his brown belt about a year or so ago.
However I didn't really get in a fight, as I'm kind of a weirdo when I'm drunk: I like to get hit in the face. So I can't really blame him when I kept yelling at this guy to keep hitting me. I got off lucky with a bloody lip and a black eye, as thankfully the guy was skinny and piss drunk.
And yes, Fight Club and Raging Bull are two of my favorite movies which probably contributed to my drunken stupidity. The funny part is, the drug dealer I met a few minutes later turned out to be this guy's older brother. Had I beat the **** out of this guy (not meaning to brag, but this guy was so drunk he fell over twice while throwing hooks), his brother would've done worse to me, and this guy was pretty sober and a lot bigger.

That sounds pretty funny. I've never actually seen somebody fall over drunk when trying to fight somebody. But the fight I was in, I was not fortunate enough to be drunk. It was a back alley scrap that turned into a royal asskicking. I broke the dude's glasses and kicked him in the stomach, but it went downhill from there. It was one of the more memorable beatings I've taken. Question. Who WASN'T drunk New Years Eve?

I havent gotten in a real fight in a long time, but I am very jumpy and have the most dangerous reflexes in the world. For example, I while ago two people came up behind me and tapped me on the shoulders, it surprised me and through my relfexes I turned around and punched them both in the face (they got wicked horrible bloody noses, the blood just kept coming and coming, and it was half-coagulated after a while so it came out of their noses like pathetic jello) I felt pretty bad, because I didnt mean to hurt them, I just have nasty reflexes. Anyways, this happens to me all the time. I wonder what I could do if I actually got angry at someone. And Googles home-page is in braille (???)

Hmmm.... we have to take into consideration the dates at which each account was created. I have a slightly higher post/day ratio than you, which makes me a better person. | PerryKroll.com | TRC | "If not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled." Wodehouse
