Question:
Ok guys, so whats your pick for best of the best? I have to go with ameriquest and the dont judge too quickly ad with the guy holding the cat covered on pasta sauce and a knife, although godaddy is a close second. (The Ameriquest ad with the guy on the cell phone was pretty good too). You guys?

If i didnt list your favorite mention it in a post.

Choices:
Ameriquest - Don't Judge Too Quickly
Career Builder - Monkeys
Go Daddy - Censorship Hearing
Anheuser-Busch - Skydiving
Something else i didnt list

Because of our Nationalist Leninist Socialist Policy (aka. N.L.S.P.) in Canada we weren't able to get the Super Bowl (seeing as it coincided with the Curling Championships yesturday and we have to protect the Canadian Football League's "Grey Cup" TV ratings) so could you please tell me who won?

P.S. 3 downs are better than 4!!!

You left out the FedEx one with Burt Reynolds. That was pretty funny. My vote goes to AmeriQuest, though.

The Ameriquest one was probably the best. The Godaddy one was just awful and pathetic, just more images of women being used against women.

I had an ad that premiered at the superbowl so I guess I'm gonna vote for myself. .... It's the budlight ad with the camera phones where he goes "that's my apartment ...that's my girlfriend ... that's my beer!".

but I agree that the ads generally weren't as good as previous years.

well, it's kindof my day job. I freelance in production design (in props, set dressing, coordinating, etc) for television commercials and the occasional music video. One of my contacts called me and the job fit my schedule perfectly so I took it! I did that spot just two weeks ago, so it was kind of a rush job to get it done for the superbowl.
Here's a "behind the scenes" photo from that shoot at the stadium scene of that spot.

****sorry for hijacking this thread. what were other good commercials people liked?****

I believe the air time cost around $3.6M per 30 second spot.
