Is anyone going away on vacation or already go somewhere? How was it?

I went to Myrtle Beach, SC last week it was amazing. Without a doubt the greatest vacation of my life-I highly recommend going there. Here are some pictures that my friend took while we were there. I'm the one with the long hair and wearing glasses in a couple of them.

I also went to Myrtle Beach last week. I can tell by some of the pictures you went to Broadway at the Beach, very cool place.

recently I went to Rochester Minnesota. It was great but the reason it was great was because I was seeing some friends. We went to the twin cities, the mall of america, and a twins game, and also got drunk and went to perkins. Aparently in Minnesota they don't know what biscuits and gravy is, but luckily we got a waitress from California and I guess in California people eat biscuits and gravy so she had the cooks make some for us. That was a pretty good time. I also spent a couple days down by the Missouri/Arkansas border. It's actually pretty nice down there. I was visiting a friend from school and where he lives the scenery is beautiful and the lake he lives by is very clean. You can see teh bottom even when its pretty deep. I tried wake bording for the first time which was great (we taped some of it, maybe I'll post it up here. I got up on my first try which I guess is uncommon. I dunno it wasn't that hard) I also jumped off some 30 or 40 foot cliffs into 100 feet of water. That was a blast. Although the locations weren't exotic or anything I still had a real good time on both of my "mini vacations."

I dig music...........AND I'M ON DRUGS!!!!!!!!!!!

I was in NYC yesterday, does that count? Big Grin

I'm so jealous of all my friends. It seems like everyone is going somewhere amazing. I've got a friend who's in Ladekah (Little Tibet, India) at an orphanage on a mountainside teaching the children english. A friend is in New Zealand who has been hitchhiking across the country working at farms, and is now managing a kiwi factory (Big Grin), friends are in England, Italy, France, Spain.... it's not fair!

Oh, and then there's JW.... everyone knows what he's doing for the next nine months.

Yea Bruce, Myrtle Beach is an awesome vacation spot. I met two guys down there from Tennessee that were like brothers to me by the time I left. I think they were from Kingsport, is that anywhere near knoxville (where you're from). Oh yea, and where did you stay when you were down there? I was at the Myrtle Beach Resort.

I just got back from a few days on Cape Cod. I love it there; I wish I could have stayed longer. But I have a big deadline on Sunday, so had to get back and get down to work. C'est la vie.

No. I'm going to be living in New Zealand and South Africa for a while. Leaving in about a month.

I was in the Centerville/Hyannisport area. Not sure how close that is to where you were.
