Ryan here again with yet another website to show you guys. now i assure you that this is the best flash animation that I have ever done and it's for my new site...Jick Design. Please tell me what you think, and PLEASE PLEASE tell me if there is anything i need to fix, or any opinions, because I want to get this site perfect. Thanks!

The word "expect" is mispelled every time.

I hope that is temporary copy for the about page, cause it's pretty bad

A big problem with the site is that there is no consistency in the design.

Every page changes too much and the back button is in a different place in each section. This confuses the user.

The about page is completely illegible. Text should always be alligned.

Also, I have noticed that the link you posted is the actual .swf file. When uploading flash to the internet it is better to publish it and then upload both the html and the swf. Then when you give out the link, it should be to the html file.

This will keep it to the screen size that you specify, rather than making it slide around when you resize the window. It will also make the site work on more browsers.

A good book to read on website design is "Don't Make me Think" by Steve Krug.

I disagree, I think that making the circle move in every menu is much better because it's not boring. Too much consistency is boring.

The text on the about page, I think is better that way. You can still read it perfectly. I mean, as longas you know to read left to right, then your OK (Your not supposed to really read the other stuff, only the middle words that are hightlighted in gray).

I put it in .swf format to make it full screen so that it fits to stretch to the user's broswer. I don't get why you said that it should be in html, They still need the flash plugin for it to work even if it is in that format.

But I will look into the interface part of the website, where you said that the back buttons confuse the user, I kind of agree. Thanks for the tips!

too much consistency might be boring, but uniformity is key. look at professional webpages. you never see that much changing. i'm not that impressed.

I like it . . . only needs music and sound effects. Back off guys, hes only 14, and doing better then a lot of people older then him (me for example).
