Believe it or not, back in the day when I was in Junior High (not middle school!), we had a TV Production class. We video taped PBS educational programs for showing to other classes later in the day. We also had a News/Weather/Sports segment during homeroom (I was the sports caster). It was back in the EARLY 70s and though it was probably state of the art then, we had VTRs (instead of vCrs) - no cassettes! Sorry, I know that didn't help (30 years later), but it was fun to remember!

Kyle, your teacher sounds like mine. A suggestion to you as your fine arts wing is adjusted. Make sure your teacher is a good one. All we do in his class is announcements and crap videos. I seriously do better stuff on my own. (Most everyone does in that class, now we're all secretly working together). The only reason I'm stil lin the class is so I can check out the Cannon XL-1 (Took a lot of brown nosing to be able to do that.)
