I know TV commercials are supposed to sell - either by being entertaining or annoying. And I'm sure that my opinion of the most annoying commercials change with the wind. With that said:

Am I the only person on the face of the Earth that finds the dancing, cartoon bears taking a squat behind a tree, looking over their shoulder and clutching toilet paper weird?

For some reason, it irritates the crap out of me. No pun intended!

haha, yeah, and right when they sit to crap it cuts to a CU on their face, and they give this snuggly smile like, "Oh yeah that feels good"

Why, of all animals, they would choose a bear to sell toilet paper is beyond me.

Bears are soft and cuddly/ toilet paper is soft and cuddly.

It makes sense to me. (seriously though, I hate that commercial).

Bears also have claws. So the last thing I need is for my toilet paper to rip the hell outta my ass.

Why couldn't they get something cool for the commercial, maybe, I don't know . . . a Liger. Big Grin

That's pretty much my favorite animal.

Darn right bears have claws! I'd like to see Mr. Whipple hand a roll of tissue to a bear. He'd be squeezing the Charmin with his stump!

Maybe they chose bears because they're so hairy and all. I imagine if they used toilet tissue, they would have a difficult time 'cleaning themselves'. (1) Because they're so hairy, they couldn't do a good job; and (2) With those claws, they'd be cutting themselves all to crap.

In fact, if I met a bear in the woods, I'm not sure what would be worse - him malling me or sitting on my face.

Maybe I'll just stay out of the woods.

Yeah the bear is all cute and cudly until you're walking home from school, I mean running home from school away from one. I mena if they really wanted to sell toilet paper they could just put a patter of George W. Bush on wach little square and it would sell like crazy. Hell I would eat Chili every night if I had that stuff Big Grin

Oh, I agree with you Jeff. However, I remember the ad because it seems to be on every ten minutes!

That one and the ones about "erectile dysfunction". I'm getting tired of those too!

hey, I'm really interested in that other ad.
Anything that has over 4-hour long erections as a side effect is worth checking out!

Ha ha. Yeah, they say "erections lasting more than four hours could be a serious problem and you should see your doctor" or something like that.

Haven't they ever heard of Prom Night?
