i was standing in a pizza shop when it landed. it felt so surreal watching the world as we know it take one more giant leap forward in technological advancement while everyone ignored the tv and went about their buisness.

I'm looking forward to the day when this becomes more and more common, and making movies in space won't be so hard any more!
Isn't this the first rocket to be launched independently of NASA?

Also, I just heard about people launching Model rockets into space! They design and build their own model rockets, fill it with the proper engine and watch it soar!
That's amazing!

That's probably what happened to the Hubble Space Telescope a few years ago when the mirror became damaged. People kept firing their little ESTES rockets and hitting the darn thing.
As for the trip in space, someone told me they had heard it would cost $200,000 an hour for the trip. I guess it's like a taxi.
$200,000 for the first hour; $50,000 for each additional 1/8 mile.
