Either it's gas in my instestines or Appendicitis. Anyone here ever have appendicitis? What were the very first symptoms?

Haha, whoa, don't get me started on appendectomies. I had my appendix taken out on December 25th, 1997. Yeah, Christmas day. It sucked, but I was only in the hospital for three days. The very first symptoms were just a sharp pain in my lower right side of my stomach (cause that's where the appendix is). I woke up about 2 hours after I went to bed on Christmas Eve, and there had been no other warning signs. Just hit me like that. Maybe something I ate, who knows. If the pain is primarily on the right side of your stomach and it doesn't go away in an hour or two, get it checked out.
