This little gem, which arrived yesterday, is now my all-time favorite piece of junk mail.

I honestly can't see what the scam is. No viruses or files of any kind attached. Obviously I don't sell propellors, nor will I be likely to buy them. What good does this DO for the guy?

That can't be it, because hardly ANYONE would answer this email. No embedded URLs or graphics to trace back, and the mere fact that it didn't bounce back wouldn't confirm either of those things.

Someone might answer with 'why did you ask me about propellers?'

Seriously, it's a feeler. I get them sometimes.

If it's a feeler, it's the dumbest feeler ever. There are so many topics MORE likely to garner a response than that one, which people will just assume was misdirected.

My favorite are the completely empty emails. No attached files. No text. Nothing in the headers, except regular data.

Yep. I'm very familiar with those also.
