I'm an animation student, looking for someone to compose an original score for my short film "Moved." I was trying to compose the music myself, but have realized that I'm just not capable. The film is just over 3 min. long, but the biggest catch is that at least a work in progress, but hopefully a fully completed version, must be turned in by March 3rd in order for it to be eligble for certain festivals. So there's not much time.

I'm looking for something ochestral or jazzy. Something like the Ben Charest/Django Reinhardt song in Triplets of Bellville "Belleville Rendevous" or the Pixar short For the birds minus the country twang. However if you watch my film and have some other style in mind I'm completely open to that.

A near complete edit of the film can be downloaded here. This version does not include SFX, which are in progress right now. If you're up for the challenge of a two week deadline, and are willing to work for screen credit please email me at brian@heney.net

Thanks.

Hi Brian,

Looks like a very cool project. I like the film. Good luck with it! It'll probably turn out to become a great shortfilm!

Cheers,

Brian, I've sent you email with a sample track of about 1:00 with hitpoints matched to the film you posted. Let me know if it works for you (let me know you got it!)
