My name is Robert Summers Potterton, III. I am an active composer, keyboardist, and conductor, and as I hope to work my way into the film music industry, I thought that I should make you all aware of my availability for film scoring, arranging, orchestrating, performing, and adapting.

I am currently studying towards a composition degree at a very reputable conservatory in western New York, where I am studying primarily with Dr. Mark Hijleh (multiple-award winner from the ASCAP). My original compositions have ranged broadly in type and genre, and I frequently write for plays, recordings, and for television. I am also very active as a church musician and instructor, and perform regularly on the piano, organ, synthesizer, recorder, and bagpipes, as well as with several ensembles that I direct.

I work well on tight schedules, turning out music that is as close to the director’s vision as possible. I would be glad to travel to meet with anyone that is interested in working with me. I have access to top musicians and excellent recording facilities, and also have connections in New York City.
