Robert Rodriguez's autobiography (sort of). Written during the period of the production of "El Mariachi" and the events surrounding, etc.
"In Rebel Without a Crew, screenwriter and director Robert Rodriguez discloses all the unique strategies and original techniques he used to make his remarkable debut film, El Mariachi, on a shoestring budget. This is both one man's remarkable story and an essential guide for anyone who has a celluloid story to tell and the dreams and determination to see it through."

Oh man. If you dont get it through him, you have to go buy it. Its only like $13 brand new. That is simply the most inspirational book on film making you will ever read. Get that book, and no one will ever be able to convince you that you wont make it.
Very nice of you to offer it to others BTW. I cant part with mine. I have read it probablly 15 times. I flip it open whenever I loose a little steam, and Im right back in there again.
