Okay, I used to do all types of synthetic/rock music along with orchestral... but I'm afraid that part of me is gone now. To be honest I suck at that style of music so I'm sticking with orchestral.
Anyway, I've composed for quite a few films most of which don't exist on this site. 2 of the films I've composed for are currently on the site and a 3rd is on it's way("Wilted Rose").
Now, I'm betting you want to hear what I can do rather than read what I have to say... so here is the latest soundtrack I've scored for the up and coming film, "Wilted Rose"...
Please don't contact me if you are planning on contacting 50 other composers to score for your film. I don't have much time as is and I don't need you to waste my time with projects that you have other composers for.
I do work for free, but if you have the means I overly appreciate any compensation you can make as I have spent a lot of money on my current setup.
Got any questions, then email me(dihmmm@hotmail.com) or message me on AIM(CBlockDis), or post here.
Thanks for your time.
Peace, Zack

Saw your post, listened to your sample music and loved it. I think your orchestral music will fit my movie like a glove. I am making a feature length fantasy film spoof in Olympia WA right now and need some Holywood-esk music. Specifically parodying various themes of the latest Hollywood Fantasy films. I need stuff that resembles the main riffs of Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings. I need battle music resembling that of Sword and the Sorcerer and the opening chase scene in Willow. Along with a fantasy-esk comedy marching bit of music… I know this is vague, but I’m just trying to communicate the sound I’m looking for. Of course since this is volunteer work, I’m not too picky and am open to artistic interpretation. You will be given a movie credit and your company logo / web address can be added at your request. I can send you a script upon request along with additional information. Our website is:
Just to let you know, I have contacted other composers, but have received no responses. I just came across your posting today and really liked what I heard. I have no problem having you the only composer on the project you sound awesome. I can even send a little money your way (though not as much as I wish I could…) I don’t need exclusivity rights, just the right to use and sequence it in a distribute-able movie that hopefully will make television air time and maybe due well at a few festivals.
Signed, William A. McDonald

I almost forgot, I also need a short (45 sec or so) bit of music where there is a nervous built up (in scene a little boy and his parents are passing some very drunk Shakespearean actors) has 3 main beats at the end followed by a 3-5 second climax. (This is when the drunken actors duel and accidentally kill the kids parents by thrusting through their heads leaving the young lad alone in the world complete with bad over the top high angel zoom alah Star Wars episode 3.

Hope you don't need the music REALLY soon because my computers are packed away in boxes(in the midst of moving all my stuff...). So right now I have no where to put everything together, not to mention it'd be a waste of time because I'd have to repack it all again in a month or so. I would really much like to compose for your film but time at the moment doesn't seem to be my friend.
Also, Mark, if you happen to read this... guess you'll need to find someone else for that contest entry because I won't be around to get the short from you, and well... same reasons I listed above. I'll repost whenever I can start composing again but for the time being I'm a bit screwed.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Peace, Zack
