Hi, In preperation for the Amazon.com Short Film competition for a short between 2-7 Minutes in length and PG-13 or below, LostBoysMediaGroup will be creating a short within those requirements next week during spring break.

I had a previous composer from College-film.net in mind, who had a GREAT piece of suspense music that would have fit right in but couldnt find much info on him.

Looking for a Composer to create the following unique "snippets" of music:

Intoduction - 15 to 30 Seconds of Music
Theme Music (Suspenseful) - 30 Seconds
Overall Film Track (Built around Action) - 5 Minutes
Ends with same Theme Music.

Film is a previous script we wrote cut down to a 6-7 Minute piece to fit within guidelines. Film is a Suspense piece, with lots of action, and dark overtones. Due to the PG-13 rating we cant have any blood althrough, I still feel we can make something 1/2 way decent given the 1-Month creation time.

Composer will recieve full credit for their work in the Film & anywhere it's referenced.

This is obviously a student short, so not looking for the best composer ever, but a good composer would certainly help. If you want to talk some more, please post here and we can get in touch, or post a link to some prior work Smile

Thanks.

Hi - sounds like there is never a shortage of short film festivals (or people trying to do them). You are welcome to take a listen to my work and if you like it - get in touch. http://www.greg-tripi.com

BTW - I just finished a 3 minute short with a film maker that I met on these boards. It just got accepted to a film fest. in Canada. I don't think he would mind me posting the link for the film if any of you guys would like to see (and listen) to it. http://www.fallenstarproductions.com/

good luck with your film Darkfire

Thanks guys for the suggestions, I will be checking out ALL of you to find the best person for the film. We really are trying to make a solid entry for this Fest so as a group we are trying something new, that is really dialogue intense and not really alot of action Or as much as I expected originally.

I will try to get in touch with one of you in the next few days to discuss things Smile

The most difficult part of filmmaking is filming your idea the way you see it not how camera sees it.
